Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to upgrade to MSB standards and pave Birch Cove Drive, Cook Inlet Circle, Tradewinds Circle, Goose Bay Drive, and Sundance Drive. The intent of the project is to survey, design, and develop complete bid documents for the road improvements ; Task #1 – Survey Conduct ROW survey along the roadway. Locate and record all utilities within survey limits. Delineate right-ofway and parcel ownership, as well as driveway details within project limits. Perform topographic survey suitable to generate 1-foot contour intervals and to accurately design any changes in finished grade. Provide vertical and horizontal control within 0.1 foot accuracy. The survey task may include sealed temporary and/or permanent easement descriptions and drawings as needed for the project after design has progressed enough to identify the needs. MSB will perform acquisition services with provided documents. Task #2 – Geotechnical Investigations The MSB will provide a geotechnical report. The geotechnical investigation will be coordinated with the design consultant. Task #3 – Plans, Specifications, & Estimate Develop plans, specifications, and an engineer’s estimate for construction.
