Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Irving Independent School District (IISD) is seeking qualified firms to provide Disaster Recovery, Restoration, and Related Services on an "as needed" basis. The services included in this contract may include, but is not limited to, recovery from damages resulting from fire, water, wind, smoke, contamination, corrosion, storm damage, vandalism, utility failures, and any other natural or man-made disaster such as explosion, truck hitting a building, et cetera. All activities are to be in compliance with current FEMA guidance (if applicable) and local, State, and Federal regulations. At a minimum, each firm shall have the capabilities of performing the following services: ꞏ Water/ Moisture Removal- Category I, II or III water extraction from floor coverings, furniture, crawlspace, mechanical room, etc. ꞏ Document Restoration ꞏ Mold and Mildew Removal ꞏ Corrosion Control ꞏ Wood Restoration and Preservation ꞏ Electronic Data/media Stabilization, Restoration of Electronic Databases (Records) and Computers ꞏ Soot/Smoke Removal- repair of smoke to walls, furniture, literature, etc. ꞏ Odor Removal ꞏ Hazardous Substance Decontamination ꞏ Environmental Hazard Assessment and Controls ꞏ General Commercial Cleaning ꞏ HVAC Cleaning ꞏ Security for the Sites to Prevent Pilfering, Theft or Vandalism ꞏ Provide a Standard of Compliance Plan for Disaster Recovery Services ꞏ Cleaning of contents and structure damaged by event ꞏ Cleaning of building ꞏ Temporary Power ꞏ Fire Damage Restoration ꞏ Temporary Heat and/or Air Conditioning ꞏ Documentation (inventory of damaged, discarded or removed items; project log, atmospheric conditions, moisture content, etc.) ꞏ Drying Services ꞏ Removal of debris ꞏ Reconstruction of damaged facility to include but not be limited to replacement of roofing material, drywall, texture, paint, ceiling tile grid, ceiling tile, insulation, floor covering, etc.
