Specifications include, but are not limited to: architectural and engineering teams to submit a proposal to provide design and construction administration services for a period of up to six years for major capital projects. Services will include, but are not limited to: Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical design; assisting the District in creating educational specifications, cost estimates, bidding documents, and providing construction administration for the identified major capital projects. The projects include, but are not limited to: - Construction of a new 600 student elementary school on a site to be determined. Budget of $28.7M. - Conversion of Clayton Intermediate School to a middle school with a student population of 1,000. Addition(s) of approximately 48,000 s.f. will contain 16 new classrooms, new locker rooms, and a cafeteria expansion. Project includes athletic field enhancements. Budget of $25.6M. - Addition(s) to North Smyrna Elementary School of approximately 39,000 s.f. will contain 12 new classrooms, student support spaces, and kitchen expansion. Project also includes MPE system renovations to the current school. Budget of $35.6M.
