Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide labor and materials to access and clean all air handler units, heat recovery systems and all associated ductwork including VAV Boxes and re-heat coils at the above location so as to achieve source removal of materials and debris that provide growth for molds, fungus and bacterial growth 2. Access & Clean return air plenums, ductwork and grilles 3. Access & Clean supply air plenums, supply ductwork and registers 4. Access & Clean blowers, squirrel cages, filter racks and housings 5. Access & Clean coils, condensate pans and drain lines 6. Access & Clean fresh air intake ductwork 7. All debris removed from HVAC systems shall be disposed of in accordance with applicable federal, state and local requirements. 8. Filters must be removed and replaced with new before the system is placed back online (District will provide filters) 9. The HVAC system includes any interior surface of the facility’s air distribution system for conditioned spaces and/or occupied zones. This includes all Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning systems from the points where the air enters the system to the points where the air is discharged from the system. The return air grilles, return air ducts to the air handling unit (AHU), interior surfaces of the AHU, mixing box, coil compartment, condensate drain pans, supply air ducts, fans, fan housing, fan blades, turning vanes, filters, filter housings, reheat coils, and supply diffusers are all considered part of the HVAC system. The HVAC system may also include other components such as dedicated exhaust and ventilation components and make-up air systems. 10. All work to be performed in accordance with NADCA Standard ACR 2013 11. Containment and Engineering Controls will be at Level 1 as defined in NADCA ACR 2013 12. Level of finished cleanliness shall meet or exceed the “Visibly Clean” test as defined in NADCA ACR 2013 unless otherwise specified. 13. Agitation will be done with the use of a power rod system and/or brushes. This system blasts compressed air through rods and a power rod head causing a “whipping” action of internal walls of the ductwork. 14. Shop Vacuum equipment used for contact cleaning is HEPA filtered in order to exhaust clean air the entire maintenance process. All work to be performed as per requirements dictated by OSHA, NADCA, ASHRAE, and SMACNA Standards. 15. Cleaning must comply with the NADCA General Specifications for the Cleaning of Commercial Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems. 16. Provide all floor protection should it be required during use of mechanical person lift.
