Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful offeror shall administer the Trust’s behavioral health mini-grant program. The contractor will be working with provider organizations who serve Trust beneficiaries, and may engage in direct contact with beneficiaries, as appropriate, in coordination of individual grant awards. The successful offeror shall review and award mini grants monthly. This review includes knowledge of the nonprofit applicants and performance with grants administration, coordinating Proposal Evaluation Committees (PEC) monthly, conducting follow up with organizations on pending or additional information requests, and ensuring timely awards. The Trust reserves the right to change to quarterly review and award upon contract renewal. 1. Outreach and Marketing. Assist the Trust to build a network for publicizing availability of mini grants including outreach activities to service providers who serve Trust beneficiaries with mental illness and/or dependence on alcohol and other drugs. 2. Manage Grant Application Process. Manage grant notification and the online application process with Trust staff direction. 3. Proposal Evaluation Committee and Grant Awards. Using criteria and the online grants management system provided by The Trust, manage a monthly Proposal Evaluation Committee (PEC) process for evaluating grant applications with a monthly amount to be granted of $55,000 to $75,000 per month. 4. Fund Disbursement. Propose a method for disbursing grant funds to the provider listed on the mini grant application.
