Specifications include, but are not limited to: ARRC is seeking the services of a qualified firm to provide an Independent Cost Estimator (ICE) in support of a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Project. This Project is the BR127.5 Bridge Replacement in which the existing 308-foot superstructure will be replaced with three 120-foot deck-plate girder (DPG) ballast deck superstructures. The existing foundation elements will be demolished and replaced with new steel piles and new concrete abutments. Relevant documents pertaining to this project can be found in the attachments. The ICE will be expected to provide the ARRC with timely cost estimates, estimating expertise, and experience to assist in determining a reasonable construction cost for the Project. The ICE’s estimates will be a blind estimate used by the ARRC, in conjunction with the estimates from the ARRC’s Design Engineer and the CM/GC to determine a reasonable cost to complete the Project.
