Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Frisco is looking for responsible bids for the reconstruction of the Preston North Drive from Old Lebanon Road to Lebanon Road. The project will include the pulverization/mixing of the existing HMAC surface with the existing base material, cement slurry stabilization to a depth of 8” at 40lbs per SY, micro-cracking, tack coat, placement of 2” of compacted Type D HMAC, and backfilling of pavement edges with topsoil, and placement of required sod.; It is the Contractors responsibility to call and request all needed line locates before any project work begins.; At the completion of each workday the Contractor is responsible for the cleanup of all construction material, equipment, and debris, to ensure the project is safe for public use.; The Contractor will take the necessary precautions to barricade and secure all work and work sites to protect work in progress and to protect the safety of the general public.; The Contractor will be required to attend a preconstruction meeting prior to any work being performed.; The Contractor shall apply for and obtain a Right of Way permit prior to any field work being performed.; The Contractor shall have the correct Traffic Control Devices in place prior to performing work at each location.; All damage to private property will be repaired or replaced at the Contractor’s sole expense.; The staging or storing of any materials or equipment on public property such as roads, alleys, or easements, will only be allowed with the City’s prior consent for each specific location.; All material testing will be at the City’s expense and discretion. Contractor will make all materials and tickets available to City at their request for this purpose.; All intersections within the project shall be tied-in to the radius return.; All driveway approaches shall be tied-in to the ROW line or as directed by the city.; A 2” butt joint shall be required at all locations where the new HMAC course ties into an existing concrete structure or concrete pavement.; The Owner’s Representative shall have access to all material tickets that are delivered to or used on any of the projects within this contract.; All bids shall also include Performance, Payment and Maintenance bonds (2 years); All hauling of equipment/materials for entire scope of project will be considered subsidiary. This will include the hauling off of any excess materials from the projects.
