Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Properly dismantle, demolish and dispose of all ductwork and equipment as shown in the contract documents, including any/all associated hangers and electrical to the existing system. • Provide all permits for the demolition scope. • Owner has first right of salvage of existing equipment, coordinate with Owner before disposal of equipment. • Contractor shall be hazardous materials awareness trained and stop work and report to Owner if any suspicious materials are encountered. • System to be de-energized by this contractor by licensed professionals. • Contractor shall remove all asphalt and soils to achieve the design of the structural pad for the new dust collection system. • Contractor is responsible for calling locates before any digging and working around the existing conditions. • Contractor shall properly core/sawcut all openings protecting surfaces/finishes to remain. • Recycle as much of the demolished materials as feasible. Summary of work: • Contractor shall furnish and install a complete new dust collection system per the contract documents. • Owner will contract with successful bidder for the complete scope and will not break the contract up into multiple contracts. Successful bidder will hire all licensed professionals to complete each discipline of the work. • Electronic submittals will need to be provided to the Design Team for review before ordering of equipment and/or materials. • Layout of all components shall be field verified before ordering of materials and a shop drawing reviewed by the Design Team will be required. • Contractor to include all permit costs and include all costs associated with obtaining permits. Owner will be responsible for any/all plan review and impact fees.
