Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cabling services shall includeinstallation, relocation, repair and maintenance of all telecommunications cabling,cable related hardware infrastructure and terminations, and attached telephoneapparatus.The following terms,•Cable plant•Wiring services•Cabling services•Wiring/cabling services•State cable. When referred to in this RFP, shall mean alltelecommunications cabling used in or between State or Higher Educationfacilities. Cabling is to include any media regardless of type that is used totransport data, video and/or voice signals.Cable plant responsibility shall include, but not be limited to:•Facility design•Cable installation/certification to national and state standards•Cable repair•Development of and maintenance of facility wiring records•Maintenance of any software and/or hardware used in the provision ofservicing telecommunications cabling infrastructure in the facilities•Following all facility security procedures•Order processing and coordination with the State through the offices ofTelecommunications, the State Engineer and other involved State/HigherEducation offices.
