Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The vendor must provide forty-five (45) patrol shotguns.; B. The vendor must provide black or dark blue patrol shotguns.; C. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with 12 gauge chambered in 3-inch open cylinder bore or choke tubes.; D. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns that are new and unused.; E. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with the manufacturer’s model in current production for all specified components and parts.; F. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns that are fully assembled.; G. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns that are semi-automatic.; H. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns that operate with a self-cleaning gas system or inertia system.; I. The vendor must provide right handed patrol shotguns with a block safety on the trigger assemble.; J. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with a magazine capacity of at least 4+1.; K. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with Ghost-ring sights.; L. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with sling attachment points.; M. The vendor must provide patrol shotgun with synthetic stock and forend.; N. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with a length of pull no longer than 14.5 inches.; O. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with an overall length no longer than 40 inches. If the provided shotguns are equipped with collapsible multi-position stock, the maximum 40 inch length will be considered with the stock fully collapsed.; P. The vendor must provide patrol shotguns with higher capacity magazines.; Q. The vendor must provide at least one complete shotgun to be test-fired by LRPD personnel using LRPD ammunition. The vendor is encouraged to submit multiple shotgun models.; i. Test-fire will be conducted by a variety of LRPD personnel.; ii. Test-fire will include 100 rounds of ammunition provided by LRPD.; iii. Failure rates above 1% clearly due to weapon malfunctions, will disqualify that weapon.
