Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment and permits as necessary and required to perform services as described herein. Whittier Mountain • Replacement of (1) Marvair Unit • Isolate the power to one unit at a time and make safe for disconnect. • Disconnect electrical and control wiring. • Recover old R-22 refrigerant from unit and recycle properly. • Disconnect supply and return grills from inside shelter. • Remove old existing unit and dispose of properly. • Safely lift new unit into original location. • Reconnect electrical and control wiring. • Reinstall supply and return grills on unit. • Install and wire new Comm Stat 4 lead/Lag Controller. • Perform a thorough start up and check out of unit. • Obtain any necessary permits and/or inspections. Oak Hill and Holden Hill (At each location): • Remove existing DOS indoor/outdoor split heat/air conditioner systems per EPA regulations from the Communications Shelter. DESC Radio personnel will transport old equipment off site. • Remove and dispose of existing units, 2 Marvair Units. • Disconnect any electrical and piping. • Install two (2) standard 2.5 ton Marvair Compact II wall HVAC units with a comparable industry standard replacement. • Remove and replace one unit at a time to keep a/c running in shelter at all times • Perform all necessary Unit System Electrical Wiring. • An optional upgrade to the existing ComStat III or IV controller or replacement that will enable IP based remote control and monitoring is requested. • Lead/Lag operation shall be configured. • Perform Start Up and Test operation of new system and provide functional test written report to Project Manager • Obtain any necessary permits and/or inspections.
