Specifications include, but are not limited to: The DOT&PF is seeking professional planning and facilitation services to facilitate a highway advisory committee for the Alaska and Richardson Highways to Fairbanks corridor (Canada border to Fairbanks).; Facilitation will include coordinating with stakeholders, soliciting input and information from stakeholders, copious note taking and recording via publicinput.com, Facetime events, and coordination with DOT&PF Public Information staff and contract manager on press releases and other public communication methods.; At the initial meeting, the facilitator will assist Highway Advisory Team in developing and soliciting an RFP for expedited planning services related to the issues and concerns raised in Advisory Team meetings. The Department will solicit the planning consultant directly and separately, with a goal that the selected contractor join the Facilitator and the Advisory committee at its second of five meetings and that the Advisory Committee join the study.; Consultant to facilitate five (5) meetings of Advisory Board comprised of 15-20 stakeholders in and along the highway corridor.; Consultant to work with planning contractor, once hired, on meeting facilitation.; After initial 5 meetings, additional meeting facilitation and preparation can be added by amendment at a set cost to be provided by respondents.
