Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Concrete foundation is required for the placement of one (1) Conex box, twenty (20) feet in length x nine (9) feet wide, with a gross weight of 67,200 pounds. B. Power wash existing asphalt of one (1) parking stall in back parking lot. C. Inspect and repair all holes or cracks in existing asphalt, where needed. D. Ensure asphalt is clean and free of oil and debris prior to installing new concrete. E. Provide a minimum compacted aggregate base of four (4) inches compacted stone, gravel, or equal. F. Install reinforcement rebar, or equal, to withhold cracking due to weight and settling, moisture, and corrosion. G. Application of concrete shall be in compliance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions to properly cure and be within a suitable temperature range. H. Broom finish new concrete area. I. Keep concrete moist while concrete is curing, following the manufacturer’s packaging recommendations. Site Preparation and Clean Up A. Contractor shall be responsible for securing the back parking lot with caution tape or cones during the project. B. Contractor shall be responsible for proper disposal of any debris and ensure that area is always clean and in a safe condition. C. Contractor shall maintain a safe working environment to prevent injuries to CHP personnel or damage to CHP property. D. Contractor, at no expense to the State of California, will repair any damage caused by the Contractor or any of his/her workers. Warranty A. Contractor shall warranty work for a period of one (1) year upon 100% completion and final inspection of the project.
