Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work closely on all development and construction aspects of the project with CEDO Assistant Director for Community Works assuming meetings and/or site visits two to three times per week. Project manager must have the ability to start working immediately upon execution of the contract. Coordinate design and construction teams to bring the project to successful completion with an anticipated opening of July 2022. Work closely with all design team members, including, architects, VEIC, Up End This, Pallet and selected prefab contractor. Help to secure and work closely with all contractors required to meet the project requirements to identify creative, cost effective and durable solutions to challenges as they arise in the construction of the Shelter Community and related infrastructure and amenities (such as wifi, solar, community gardens, site security, etc.). Work with local code officials to provide required information and ensure all applicable state and local codes are being met. Coordinate and support community partners and volunteers on “build days” to develop on-site art, nature, community spaces, etc. and also an opportunity to encourage community members and local businesses to embrace the Shelter Community, to build connections and lower fears.
