Specifications include, but are not limited to: draining the transmission main, removing and replacing one 2-inch air/vacuum valve, four 4-inch air/vacuum valves, one 8-inch air/vacuum release valve, two 8-inch butterfly valves, four 4-inch butterfly valves, two 20-inch butterfly valves, removing and replacing six manhole tops and lids with 60” flat-top manhole with 36” access, removing and replacing up to three 8-inch butterfly valves on the blow-off assemblies, removing and replacing up to two 4-inch butterfly valves on the pig launching stations, asphalt work, and associated work. It is noted that Carson City will provide the air/vacuum valves and butterfly valves to be installed by the contractor. The project includes all common phases of construction customarily associated with this type of project.
