Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Nevada Department of Transportation (DEPARTMENT) recognizes the need to implement a Towing and Recovery Incentive Program (TRIP) as a pilot project in the greater Southern Nevada area. TRIP is a Transportation Systems Management and Operation (TSMO) strategy, and the primary objective of the program is to reduce incident clearance times related to commercial motor vehicle (CMV) crashes through the standardization of incident response and towing procedures provided by TRIP certified tow companies, thereby enhancing safety, reducing traffic congestion, and minimizing secondary incidents. The SERVICE PROVIDER will assist the DEPARTMENT in a pilot project to implement, operate, manage, and maintain TRIP for two (2) years in Southern Nevada to collaborate with key regional stakeholders and partnering agencies.
