Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Ensure that services are provided by individuals who have demonstrated knowledge, training, skill, and ability to: a. Administer drug testing according to the specifications of the Contract. b. Relate to all cultural, ethnic, socio-economic groups, and lifestyles. c. Interact with Department-referred clients in a supportive and non-discriminative manner. 2. Maintain documentation for cu rrent drug testing standards, policies, and procedures, including, but not limited to manuals, and internal controls, that ensure accuracy of drug testing. 3. Ensure that the Department is payer of last resort when clients have alternate funding available. 4. Provide interpretation and translation to non-English speaking families and accommodate individuals with special needs and or disabilities. Such situations may require collaboration with the Department referring worker. 5. Notify the Department within forty-eight (48) hours via phone or email in circumstances where a Department-referred client does not keep an appointment (no-show), refuses testing, alters the sample provided, presents in a belligerent manner, or otherwise corrupts the testing process. a. The Department reserves the right to not pay for no-shows.
