Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Children and Families (DCF/Department) is seeking to meet the State of Connecticut's need for outpatient providers of treatment for children and youth who have lived or are living with racial and urban trauma. Through this Request, the Department is seeking to create a network of providers who will be trained on racial and urban trauma and on best intervention practices for supporting youths of color. The Department will contract with two (2) organizations in each of Connecticut's largest urban settings of Hartford, Bridgeport, New Haven and Waterbury. This Request is for the solicitation of qualifications from preferably small, grass-root, minority operated, private provider organizations within Connecticut who are currently working on reducing and eliminating racial and urban trauma and are or are interested in, servicing youth and families of color within the state.
