Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vermont Department of Health, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME), is seeking proposals from laboratories for postmortem forensic toxicology services. We require comprehensive, reliable, and timely toxicological analysis of postmortem specimens, including screening and confirmation for alcohol, carbon monoxide, prescription and illicit drugs, volatiles and other substances. Proposals will only be accepted by laboratories that meet the following criteria: • Accredited by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology (ABFT), the College of American Pathologists (CAP), or a state reference laboratory". • Ability to interface with MDILog by ORA, Inc. for specimen submission and test reporting.
