Specifications include, but are not limited to: The resulting contract will provide for regular monitoring to determine if and when treatments are required, and to evaluate their effectiveness. Integrated Pest Management programs must employ a mix of biological, cultural, mechanical/physical, educational, and least toxic chemical strategies and tactics to keep pest numbers low enough to prevent intolerable damage or nuisance. Non-chemical methods and pest prevention are emphasized, and pesticides are used only as a last resort when other approaches prove inefficient. The bidder will furnish all supervision, labor, materials, applications, treatments and equipment necessary to accomplish the monitoring, management and pest removal components of the program. There shall be quarterly inspections to provide proper identification, management and treatment of pests consistent with the Integrated Pest Management principles outlined in this RFP keeping pests below tolerable levels and to prevent infestations.
