Specifications include, but are not limited to: facia panel removal on the PRT guideway located around Reynolds Hall. Work to include all labor, material, equipment, and traffic control required for the removal and disposal of ninety-four (94) steel guideway fascia panels. These panels are mounted on elevated sections of guideway and are located along the west side of Beechurst Avenue, on the North and South sides of the new Reynolds Hall Building. Each panel is approximately 15 feet long, 7 feet tall, and made from 3/16-inch-thick steel. Each panel weighs approximately 1000 lbs. The available connection and dimensional details are provided in the drawings. The removal sequence shall be balanced between the east and west sides of each guideway span, and work for each end shall progress towards the Beechurst PRT Station. Spotters and traffic control shall be utilized to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians in roadways, parking lots, and the adjacent rail trail.
