Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division of Public Health’s, Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion is seeking a contractor who can provide health educational information and link priority populations of women such as LGBTQ, English as a second language and/or low Socioeconomic Status women to proven resources that can improve their overall health. The vendor will be expected to identify potential partners in the Anchorage area who represent priority populations. The preferred contractor: will engage in consumer Education and Outreach by providing tobacco cessation material at numerous outreach events to link women to the Alaska Tobacco Quit Line and diabetes prevention resources with a mid-year and end of fiscal year report. The contractor will be required to research community and health fair events to participate. They will also be expected to schedule and pay for any vendor booths if it is required.
