Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant will review and asses the existing Regional Center Design Guidelines adopted in 2008 and make updates as necessary to address the changing landscape of Indianapolis’ regional center. The consultant will review related documents and data, evaluate existing physical boundaries, and evaluate the structure of the existing document for ease of use. The city is interested in updating the established Regional Center Design Guidelines with an added focus on pedestrian design, equitable development, and environmental and social sustainability. The consultant will engage stakeholders for input. When necessary, the consultant will be expected to partner with other consultants hired by the city of Indianapolis for other concurrent planning process.
