Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will be responsible for cleaning drainage structures within the Town of Goffstown with the use of a “vactor” type drainage structure cleaner. All equipment must be in good repair and proper working condition. The contractor shall rinse the frame, grate, side walls, sumps, and inverts with a high-pressure spray hose. All debris shall be vacuumed clean after the rinse into the sump. The contractor shall provide one all-inclusive per each rate regardless of how empty or full the drainage structures are and include all associated equipment and labor costs, to vacuum and remove silt, sediment, and miscellaneous debris from the following drainage components: • Drop inlets with diameters greater than 2’ and up to 3’ and varying depths. • Catch basins and drain manholes with diameters greater than 3’ and varying depths. If large debris is encountered that cannot be removed with the Vactor truck using suction and reasonable clearing efforts, then the DPW official shall be notified before proceeding with any additional clearing measures by a Clamshell truck. Notation of the blockage shall be made in the structure inspection report.
