Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Fourteen business days after contract execution, by June 20, 2022, submit a project plan to the AOE that includes key deliverables and milestones, person(s) responsible, and timeline for delivery. 2. Meet at least twice per month with identified AOE UPK ACIS Team. Meetings will be scheduled after the contract has been executed, will be in-person or virtual, and at least 1.5 hours in length. 3. Implement and facilitate an hour-long Community of Practice virtual meeting each month beginning in October 2022 for the programs participating in the project. 4. Provide professional learning training and coaching sessions to cohort 1 during the 2022- 2023 school year and cohort 2 during the 2023-2024 school year. In-person training, coaching, and technical assistance is preferable; virtual training, coaching, and technical assistance should be available if needed. Specific sessions are as follows: a. Four days of in-person Pyramid Model training (Note: venue selection and reservation will be the responsibility of the contractor. The AOE will provide support as needed): i. 2 full-day sessions in the fall of 2022 for teachers in cohort 1 and the fall of 2023 for teachers in cohort 2. Fall training content topics for each cohort include: 1. Overview of Early MTSS 2. Pyramid Model Tier 1 Universal Promotion 3. Pyramid Model Tier 2 Secondary Prevention ii. 2 full-day sessions in the spring of 2023 for teachers in cohort 1 and the spring of 2024 for teachers in cohort 2. Spring training content topics for each cohort include: 1. Day 1—Pyramid Model Tier 3a 2. Day 2—Pyramid Model 3b Tertiary Intervention b. 18 on-site Practice-based Coaching sessions for the teachers of each program within each cohort. i. Two, 2-hour coaching sessions per month (September through May) for each program within each cohort. ii. Administer pre and post Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT). c. 18 on-site or virtual systems level training and Technical Assistance sessions for the leadership of each program within each cohort. i. Two, 1-hour sessions per month (September through May) for each program within each cohort. ii. Systems level training to include the following topics: 1. purpose and use of Early MTSS Systems Inventory 2. stages of implementation 3. data based decision-making 4. continuous improvement plan 5. embedding Early MTSS into local policy, procedures, and practice iii. Administer pre and post systems inventory 5. Establish and facilitate a State Early MTSS Leadership team along with the AOE and Building Bright Futures: a. Monthly two-hour meetings starting in the fall of 2022 b. Provide systems level training to team members 6. Deliver additional in-person or virtual Pyramid Model trainings to remaining Vermont UPK programs in the fall of 2023 and spring 2024. These trainings shall mirror what was provided cohorts 1 and 2. Note: venue selection and reservation will be the responsibility of the contractor. The AOE will provide support as needed. a. 2 full-day sessions in the fall of 2023 for UPK teachers: i. Overview of Early MTSS ii. Pyramid Model Tier 1 Universal Promotion iii. Pyramid Model Tier 2 Secondary Prevention b. 2 full-day sessions in the spring of 2024 for UPK teachers: i.
