Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Demonstrate an understanding of the South Dakota School Success Process (Exhibit B) including: - Distinction between Comprehensive, Targeted, and Additional Targeted Support and Improvement Schools; - Timelines for implementing the School Success Process; - Phases of the Process; o Set the Direction; o Identify Needs; o Action Plan; o Implement and Progress Review; o Evaluate and Adjust; 2.2 Facilitation of the South Dakota Comprehensive Needs Assessment Process (Exhibit C) specifically how to: - Build a shared understanding of the Framework; - Lead a school team through: o Qualitative and quantitative data collection, organization, analysis and coding; o Prioritizing need; o Root cause analysis; o Action planning using the State template; - Identify and implement Evidence Based Practices; 2.3 Guide assigned school teams using facilitation techniques for: - Critical conversations; - Managing conflict; - Consensus building; - Conducting effective meetings; - Additional team facilitation skills; 2.4 Document and track work with assigned schools at a minimum of monthly using an agreed upon template
