The unit shall be powered by a 4 cylinder Tier IV certified diesel engine with minimum 73 HP 2. Electrical system (12 or 24 volt), with alternator, starter, voltage regulator and heavy duty battery(s). 3. Electronically controlled engine. 4. Air cleaner, heavy-duty, two-stage, dry-type with restriction indicator. 5. Oil filter, heavy-duty with replaceable element. In no instance shall the unit lose oil pressure to critical engine components while working on slopes. 6. Fuel filter/water separator, heavy-duty with replaceable element. 7. Heavy-duty radiator and cooling system with 50 - 50 mixture of water and permanent type antifreeze. Radiator shall be sufficient for eight hours continuous operation. 8. Fuel tank capacity shall be sufficient for eight hours continuous operation. 9. Muffler, exhaust system, with rain cap or exhaust configuration to prevent rain entering. Exhaust system to have turbo protection to prevent reverse airflow when unit is being transported (i.e. a turbo saver). 10. Tachometer. 11. Hourmeter, electric quartz type, shock proof, totally sealed case, with oil pressure or alternator switching device with readout up to 9,999.9 hours. 12. Oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, hydraulic oil temperature gauge and ammeter. 13. An audible alarm with warning light shall be provided to warn of low oil pressure or high water temperature. 14. Meet current EPA emission requirements. 15. An electronic display system that incorporates the above indicators, gauges and annunciators is acceptable. 16. Engine bore shall be 3.8” (98 mm) and stroke shall be 4.3” (110 mm) 17.
