Specifications include, but are not limited to: Speech Services: Provide speech and language services to students; including therapy, evaluations and other duties as assigned. Attend ARD/IEP meetings. Attend district meetings and trainings as required.; 1. Speech therapy and evaluations are completed with competence and therapists will participate in ARD/IEP meetings. ; 2. All services specified in this Agreement shall be provided without charge to the parents, surrogates, guardians, or adult student(s). ; 3. Therapists will maintain accurate documentation for services, evaluation and Medicaid reimbursement. ; 4. All therapists will undergo a background check and commit to working the duration of the school year. Abandonment of caseload will be addressed immediately by the vendor. ; 5. All therapists adhere to district and campus compliance guideline.; Sign Language Interpreting: Provide sign language interpreting for hearing impaired students for instructional purposes or extracurricular activities or for hearing impaired parents during ARD/IEP meetings.; 1. Allow access to instruction for hearing impaired students. ; 2. Allow access to the special education IEP process for hearing impaired parents. ; Independent Education Evaluations, Initial Evaluations and Reevaluations, Related Services Evaluations: Provide an Individual Education Evaluation (IEE) to resolve a contested Special Education evaluation full and individual evaluation (FIE) or to complete initial and/or reevaluations for student initially referred or currently served in Special Education. Stand-alone evaluations such as In-Home Training, Assistive Technology, Transition, should be included in this section as well.; 1. Are aligned with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Texas Education Agency regulations for disability identification, related services, and or programming.; 2. Are aligned with best practice school-based special education evaluation.
