Specifications include, but are not limited to: The end product is a new Housing Chapter of the Town Plan with up-to date housing data. It also will include updated goals, strategies and actions to implement the Plan based on a high level of public input. A Steering Committee made up of Planning Commission members and other Commission representatives and entities will be formed to work with staff and the consultant. Five to six workshops are proposed to discuss the many housing topics. Three community forums are also planned to inform the public about housing challenges and to seek public input working toward solutions. The Town is seeking a consultant with strong presentation and facilitation skills and is open to two consultants joining forces to work on the project in an effort to strengthen the team. Specific activities and deliverables include the following: An updated draft housing chapter to the Town Plan with the most current housing data and specific goals, strategies and actions to implement the Plan. A community outreach process and schedule. Work with Town staff, to plan and lead 5-6 Steering Committee meetings, and provide written summaries of meeting outcomes. Work with staff and the Steering Committee to plan and lead three community meetings and provide written summaries of meeting Outcomes. Prior to working on the Draft Housing Chapter, provide a detailed outline to be reviewed by staff and the Steering Committee. Develop the Housing Chapter with input from staff and the Steering Committee.
