Specifications include, but are not limited to: roadway reclamation and resurfacing; roadway shimming and paving; and related miscellaneous and restoration work. Erosion/sedimentation control, dust control, and traffic control shall also be maintained throughout the project duration.; B. The CONTRACTOR shall coordinate manhole, catch basin and valve box adjustments with the OWNER and utilities, who will adjust their own facilities.; C. The CONTRACTOR shall provide complete systems, tested and ready for use.; BITUMINOUS CONCRETE SIDEWALKS: A. Comply with the material requirements NHDOT "Standard Specifications", Section 401.; B. Where no forms, curbing or other supports are provided, grade control forms shall be installed to obtain proper alignment and adequate compaction of the sidewalk course. The alignment and grade of all supports shall be approved by the OWNER immediately prior to the placing of any material against them. Forms shall be cleaned thoroughly each time they are used. String or wire lines staked to grade will not be acceptable as equivalent to grade control forms. When a suitable abutting curb or header is available and is approved by the OWNER as in conformity with the approved grade, it may be used as grade control form.; C. For a single course sidewalk bituminous concrete material shall be placed on the compacted sub base in one course, two inches thick, unless authorized by the OWNER, by either mechanical or hand spreading method in a manner that the required depth will result after compaction. When placing over an existing surface, the surface shall be cleaned before the bituminous concrete is placed.; D. For a 2 course sidewalk bituminous concrete material shall be placed on the compacted sub base in two courses, a two inch thick base course and a one inch thick wear course. The method shall be either mechanical or hand spreading with thickeners measured after compaction. When placing over an existing surface, the surface shall be cleared before the bituminous concrete is places.; E. Compaction shall be accomplished by means of a hand operated or power roller of a type and weight acceptable to the OWNER. In areas inaccessible to the roller, hand tamping will be permitted. The bituminous sidewalk material shall be uniformly compacted and present a smooth, even surface.; RECLAIM BITUMINOUS CONCRETE PAVEMENT: Provide scarifying, if necessary and pulverizing of the existing bituminous concrete pavement material and gravel base to a minimum depth of nine inches (9") or at least two inches (2") below the pavement thickness as required, or ordered by the OWNER
