Specifications include, but are not limited to: a 50-foot steel modular bridge; Bridge shall be ready for installation, one shop-assembled, HL-93 loading, steel, two-piece, portable modular bridge superstructure complete with guard rail systems. The superstructure shall meet the dimensions listed in Table 1 below. In addition, the supplier shall deliver 2 each, 30”x18”x16’ reinforced, precast concrete bearing pads (i.e. standard bearing fill for a 14’ wide modular bridge) or equivalent portable abutments for this structure. ; Length: 50 feet 0 inches out to out. Travelway: 14’0” clear travel between guard rails (delivered in modules). Live Load: The bridges shall meet a minimum loading of HL93. Structural Steel: All structural steel shall be of domestic (USA) manufacture and shall conform to the requirements of ASTM Specification A709 Grade 50W (A-588 weathering steel), with exterior surfaces of girders being blast-cleaned (blast clean method or SSPC-SP7) prior to shipping to assure uniform weathering
