Specifications include, but are not limited to: includes the removal of Rohn 25 Guyed tower from the roof of City Hall, along with any associated communication cables.; 1. The City electrician will disconnect and remove all cables on the roof level.; 2. Vendor to remove all disconnected communication cables on the tower.; 3. Vendor to remove all cable trays from the roof level.; 4. Guy wire anchors to remain in place.; 5. Remove tower a. Tower mounted antennas; b. Cables; 6. Vendor to temporarily patch tower base so City’s roofing contractor can do a permanent patch in the future.; 7. The City will coordinate road closures and police details if needed.; 8. If a Vendor doesn’t want to haul material offsite, the City can provide a dumpster for metal only on site the day of removal. All sections must be cut to less than 19’ to fit in the dumpster.; 9. Permits will need to be obtained from Inspection Services by the vendor. Local permit fees will be waived by City.; 10. Vendor is responsible for coordinating any sub-contractors (i.e., crane/rigging company).; 11. Vendor is responsible for protecting any part of the roof that is worked on or walked upon.
