Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor should expect approximately 50 calls for assistance, largely for telephonic consultation and advice, but may include a limited number of call outs as needed. Total amount of work is estimated to involve approximately 150-200 hours per year to assist CNU and SWAT responses and their aftermath. Other elements to be included in an acceptable proposal for service: Certified Clinical Psychologist that specializes in Law Enforcement Crisis Intervention, specifically: o Assessing a subject's personality, mental status, suicide risk, and violence risk. o Recommending crisis/hostage negotiation themes and strategies. o Monitoring tactical team fatigue. o Making recommendations to the Crisis Negotiations Unit (CNU) Commander or designee and other on-scene command staff. o Working with Third Party Intermediaries to assess suitability, coach-ability, and needed coping skills for use by CNU in a callout situation. o Assisting involved parties at the direction of the CNU Commander
