Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor must: 1. Provide Landscape Maintenance services at State Hospital West (SHW). a. Service must be performed between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise approved by the Contract Monitor or their designee. 2. Furnish all labor, tools, specialized equipment, material, supplies, supervision and transportation to perform mowing and landscaping services. 3. Remove all litter and debris before and after each mowing and dispose of the material off-site. a. Bagging is not required, but the Contractor must ensure clippings are not left in walkways, flowerbeds, driveways, and parking lots. 4. Provide herbicides, fertilizers, chemicals and other needed products. a. The Contract Monitor or their designee must approve all products to be used at SHW. 5. Supply all necessary Material Safety Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets, or other data sheets to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. II. Services to be Performed A. Lawn mowing and maintenance services. The Contractor must: 1. Perform services weekly during the months of April, May June, July, August, September and October. 2. Perform services twice in the month of November, with the final service occurring before November 15. a. Any services after November 15 will require prior approval by the Contract Monitor. 3. Mow all lawns, approximately two hundred forty two thousand, four hundred sixty three (242,463) square feet. 4. Edge all areas around trees, shrubs, buildings, posts, fences, flowerbeds, sidewalks and curbs with lawn trimmers. a. Contractor must replace trees, shrubs, and or bushes damaged by inappropriate mowing or edging. 5. Trim all turf areas inaccessible to mowing equipment as needed. 6. Keep the entrance drive, parking areas, sidewalks, curbs and other hard surfaces free of debris. a. The use of power blowers is acceptable, but accumulations of debris must be removed from the site and not blown onto adjacent property, street surfaces, sewer drains, fence lines or planting areas.
