Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Niwot Sanitation District Wastewater Improvements Project. The Project is anticipated to be designed and constructed in three phases using the progressive design-build delivery method: • Study Phase: Prepare a flows and loads and treatment option analysis and provide a summary of project delivery options. • Phase One: Prepare design to pre-final completion and a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal. • Phase Two: Complete design, permitting, construction, and post-construction tasks, including performance testing, startup commissioning and operator training and support (if GMP is approved by the Owner in Phase One). The owner desires to explore a cost-effective way to either (a) modernize the existing wastewater treatment plant to meet nutrient regulations, (b) demolish and build the new wastewater treatment plant on District property, or (c) a combination of (a) and (b).
