Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide a minimum of 350 Training Credit Hours to public drinking water system operators in Vermont; Bidders must demonstrate they have the necessary personnel, equipment, services, and facilities to develop, schedule, and announce training courses. Bidders must demonstrate they have the ability to register trainees and answer questions from prospective trainees, process incoming registration forms and checks, prepare and distribute course certificates. The selected vendor will work closely with the Division to: • Develop an annual training calendar; • Assure posting of sessions in multiple media outlets (newsletters, websites, mailings, etc.): • Coordinate courses with other organizations and higher education institutions to meet the operator training needs of the State and Vermont Public Water Systems; • Work with other organizations, Vermont colleges and universities, trade associations, and consultants to improve the variety of educational opportunities and ensure the appropriate trainings are made available to Vermont water system operators and personnel.
