Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will construct a storm drain system on Karen Avenue from Maryland Parkway to Mojave Road, then along Mojave Road from Karen Avenue to Vegas Valley Drive and east on Vegas Valley Drive to connect to the Flamingo Wash to accommodate drainage in the corridor. The improvements include installing a storm drain system, removal and replacement of the roadway section on Karen Avenue, pavement replacement of the existing roadway on Karen Avenue, Mojave Road and Vegas Valley Drive, placement of UTACS, installation of streetlights on the south side of Karen Avenue between Maryland Pkwy and Eastern, as well as other construction improvements including removal and/or installation of curbs, gutter, sidewalks, replacing street lighting with LED luminaires, installation of school flashers, signage, retaining walls, pavement markings, waterline relocations, and other associated improvements.
