Specifications include, but are not limited to: Deliverable 4: Summary report of meetings and work done with towns including any land use regulations or tools adopted by towns. Task 21: NLRA and selected consultant will meet with town planning and select boards to discuss progress made on implementing the Newfound Watershed Management Plan and to identify each town’s near- and long-term goals and objectives pertaining to water quality protection, including the adoption of water quality protection ordinances, regulations and tools. Task 22: Following task 21 NLRA and the selected consultant will work with watershed towns to implement water quality protection ordinances and tools based on the needs and interest of each town, including stormwater ordinances, steep slope ordinances, impervious surface lot coverage, and minimum lot size. Objective 5: Engage with residents, homeowners, towns, and others to raise awareness about the watershed plan implementation process and opportunities to engage in the effort. Measures of Success: Number of participants attending meetings; number of commitments made to implement water quality protection measures, and an updated webpage. Deliverable 5: Hold annual watershed conferences; meetings with residents and update NLRA website. Task 23: Newfound Watershed Workshop year 1- NLRA, with selected consultant, will plan and implement an annual workshop for town boards and committees to discuss implementation of the Newfound Lake Watershed Management plan and collaborative work on water quality protection. Other partners, community members, and the general public will also be invited to participate. Task 24: Newfound Watershed Workshop, years 2 and 3- NLRA, will plan and implement the annual conference for town boards and committees to discuss implementation of the Newfound Lake Watershed Management Plan and collaborative work on water quality protection. Other partners, community members, and the general public will also be invited to participate.
