Specifications include, but are not limited to: Grantee shall ensure compliance with the following requirements: 1. If the client first presents either by phone or in person at provider site, Grantee shall complete a screening to determine clinical and financial eligibility for services. 2. Provider will admit priority populations based on federal and state guidelines 3. Provide Overdose Prevention and Reversal Education 4. Document medication and counseling services 5. Ensure privacy and security controls related to client confidential information are maintained 6. Ensure that providers clinical staff providing direct services have the training and expertise in: a. Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) or Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques. b. Overdose prevention. c. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Advocacy. d. Co-Occurring Psychiatric & Substance Use Disorders (COPSD). e. Trauma, abuse and neglect, violence, and related conditions. f. Medicaid, Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF), and Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) eligibility. g. Seeking Safety curriculum. h. Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD); Cultural Competency, specifically including but not limited to gender and sexual identity and orientation; and i. Substance Use and Child Welfare by the National Center for Substance Abuse and Child Welfare, Tutorial 1: Understanding Child Welfare and the Dependency Court: A Guide for Substance Abuse Treatment Professionals.
