Specifications include, but are not limited to: 19.1 Abatement services will include open air removal, disposal and wet cleaning of all ACM in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. 19.2 Vendor is responsible for ensuring all removed materials, including ACM, are legally disposed of, by the Vendor, at a certified EPA landfill that accepts asbestos materials. This will include, but is not limited to, keeping materials wet and providing disposal in lined dumpsters. 19.3 The Vendor must ensure Wet Cleaning of all surfaces inside and outside of the Work Area as required. 19.4 Demolition services must include full removal and disposal of foundation, all vegetation, curbs and sidewalks in a 20 ft. perimeter (See Exhibit C). 19.5 All existing tunnels within a 20 ft. perimeter of the building must be capped and filled in. 19.6 Work area must be back filled with engineered fill material suitable for a new structure. 19.7 All trees within 40 ft. of the building that were damaged by the fire; need to be removed, along with the root ball and the area filled with screened dirt. 19.8 Five hundred (500) bricks with the least amount of damage will be salvaged, cleaned, palletized and returned to the campus. This should be included with base lump-sum bid amount. 19.9 The Vendor must ensure that Work Area is properly maintained to protect public safety. 19.10 The Vendor shall take all appropriate precautions to protect the Campus and Community property (streets, utility meters, mains, etc.) from damage by the Vendor’s equipment.
