Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall remove, replace and reseal the entire front and rear parking lot. Work includes replacement and reinstallation of broken concrete bumpers: realign and pre-drill loose bumpers; repaint existing painted curbs and re-stripe all spaces and lines 1.02 SPECIFIED AMOUNTS Contractor is responsible for inspecting and evaluating the condition of the site. Written specifications and application rates have been predetermined by the CHP Facilities Coordinator. 1.03 DISCREPANCIES Should there arise any error, discrepancies or doubt as to the intent and purpose of these plans and specifications, Contractor shall immediately contact the CHP Facilities Coordinator. 1.04 DESIGN CHANGES All items relating to colors, textures, finishes, or otherwise pertaining to the designed appearance shall not be changed unless approved by the CHP Facilities Coordinator. ; .10 ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT A. Contractor shall place asphalt concrete on prepared aggregate base as specified below (exception will be “skin patch”). B. All design mixes for asphalt shall be used as specified in the geographic area by the State of California, Department of Transportation and as outlined in the standard specification of the State of California, Department of Transportation. C. Apply a paint binder coat to all vertical surfaces of cut pavement or exposed curb, prior to placing asphalt. D. Spread asphalt, three (3) inches deep mixed aggregate, using spreader box of small tractor with drag blade to a uniform surface grade, free from lumps, pockets and coarse
