Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of Oil and Gas has no well record for the referenced well. The well has no casing above the surface. There is a possibility that 7” casing could be found sub surface. The well appears to have been drilled for oil production. Currently the well is leaking oil and salt water at the surface of the bore. The plugging procedure will be created using reference well 085-01666. The well record shows TD @ 869’, oil shows @ 829’, coal shows @ 783’, and fresh water shows @ 76’. The record shows 8 ¼” casing to a depth of 190’ and 6 ⅝” casing to a depth of 820’. Cemented casing is unknown. There is a possibility you could encounter rods and tubing below surface. There are no tanks associated with this well plugging. The producing formation is the Cow Run. The Office of Oil and Gas will provide all required permits for this project, whether internal or other agencies. OOG will contact West Virginia 811 (“Miss Utility”) to have all known sub surface utilities located and marked.
