Specifications include, but are not limited to: All Bath houses are to be cleaned, stocked, and disinfected no later than 9:00 a.m. daily: • Clean & disinfect all parts of all toilets & urinals, bowl, rim & seat should be clean and free of spots/debris; State of Maine RFQ # 01A 220314-235 13 • Inspect urinal deodorizers and replace as needed; • Clean and disinfect all parts of all sinks; • Wipe down and disinfect hand dryers; • Clean mirrors with glass cleaner; • Thoroughly clean off changing room benches and sweep all floors (use caution when sweeping floors and shower areas to prevent sand from entering floor drains), throwing trash/sand/debris in proper receptacles (Trash from proper receptacles will be removed and disposed of by park staff); • Thorough disinfection of floors, shower areas, walls, stall doors, and handles, hand dryers, sanitary napkin receptacles, and especially areas immediately surrounding toilets, urinals & sinks. • Hose off the small ventilation grates located around the perimeter of the building to keep grime from building up. ; • Keep bath houses clean and sanitary throughout the day (hourly bath house checks); during periods of lower public use a few times a day is sufficient. The Park Manager or Ranger in charge will determine if less than hourly bathhouse checks are adequate. • Fill toilet paper dispensers. • Check for and immediately remove messes and biohazards from anywhere within the bath houses. This can include trash, food items, and any number of BFD’s (bodily fluid discharges). Disinfection of the immediate area is necessary.
