Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove existing landscaping, curbing, signage, and ADA asphalt parking stall to create a new accessible route as per plans and specifications. 2. Provide barricades, coverings, or other types of protection necessary to prevent damage to existing improvements not indicated to be removed as per plans and specifications. 3. Notify utility locator service for area where Project is located before demolition operations as per plans and specifications. 4. Contractor shall carefully remove, salvage, box or bundle items as approved, and deliver such items to a designated storage area per plans and specifications. 5. Verify that utilities have been disconnected and capped before starting selective demolition operations. 6. Install new concrete parking stall, with ADA compliant striping and signage and a truncated dome walkway area. Aisleways will not exceed 1.5 % slope in any direction as per plans and specifications. 7. Contractor will ensure that the work area is kept clean and free of debris, as necessary, to maintain a safe working environment for staff. All debris, trash and packaging are to be disposed of off-site daily. 8. All materials to be warrantied as per the manufacturer’s warranty. 9. Contractor to provide a one-year warranty on their workmanship. 10. Contractor is responsible for any damage caused to CHP’s property as a result of demolition and construction. The Contractor at their sole expense shall make all repairs caused by their employees in a prompt manner to make the CHP whole.
