Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor agrees provide unarmed security guard services to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The Contractor shall provide unarmed guard services on a schedule as defined in Exhibit A, Scope of Work of this Agreement and in accordance with Attachment 1, Bid Proposal. Caltrans owns vacant and occupied residential properties along its 710-corridor project. These properties are frequently targeted for break-ins and illegal occupation. Constant patrols are needed to keep the Caltrans properties secure and to prevent theft, vandalism, damage to properties, and harm to Caltrans employee/member of the public. The Contractor shall inspect the houses every day and night, and report incidents or emergencies to Caltrans, local police, emergency services, or State highway patrol.
