Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Inspection: 28.3.1. Inspect non-slip for unreasonable wear.; 28.3.2. Assess the slide for deflection and delamination. Utilize moisture meter when appropriate.; 28.3.3. Identify issues such as crazing, blistering, bare fiberglass, and oxidation.; 28.3.4. Visually inspect slide exterior for fiberglass damage or fiberglass degradation.; 28.3.5. Visually inspect exterior hardware for excessive rust, corrosion, or loose hardware.; 28.3.6. Inspect tower for any rust, corrosion, or hardware damage.; 28.3.7. Inspect slide for misaligned or leaking seams.; B. Services Provided: 28.3.8. Pressure Wash start tub and all flume sections. Crew must not damage finish.; 28.3.9. Washing must include cleaning agent (Simple Green or contractor proprietary blend).; 28.3.10.Repair all minor structural flaws in ride path i.e. a chip or gouge with a sharp edge.; 28.3.11. Caulk seams as needed.; 28.3.12. All repairs will be done with vinyl-ester resin or vinyl-ester marine grade filler.; 28.3.13. Any structural repairs (none known at this time), gel coating and exterior painting would/will be addressed in a separate agreement(s).; C. Clean and Wax – Interior: 28.3.14. Using marine wax (or other approved wax) wax start tub and all flume sections. Wax should be polished into the surface.; 28.3.15. Closed flumes need waxing on the bottom half only.
