Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of the construction of the Phase 4 Landfill Cell Expansion within the licensed landfill area. The 17-acre expansion area will include excavation, embankment, preparation of liner subgrade and lined with the liner system shown on the plans. The liner system includes the following elements from bottom to top; compacted native liner subgrade, geosynthetic clay liner (GCL), 60 mil. double-sided textured HDPE flexible membrane liner, non-woven geotextile fabric, and gravel base drainage and protective layer. The landfill cell will also include leachate collection and outfall piping. Other work includes the construction of stormwater diversion ditches and miscellaneous drainage improvements
