Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. New Pavement (1.25 acres). Construction of new pavement and additional bus parking on what is currently open ground in the southeast corner of the facility. This improvement will involve limited Excavation for pavement, up to 2 feet, to build the new paved parking area. This will involve stripping topsoil and poor subgrade to establish a new surfacing section. Approximately 1.25 acres will be surfaced and will provide additional bus parking as well as overflow employee parking. b. Utility extension including lighting. Existing lighting located along the east limit of the existing paving will be removed, and new lighting will be installed within the newly paved area. Block heater outlets will be installed in the new bus parking area. Electrical conduit will be installed along the south edge of the site to supply power to the new lighting. A utility corridor (utilidor)will be installed in the newly paved area that will allow for power for the new lighting, block heater outlets, and enable future upgrade for electric bus charging. Construction of these improvements is scheduled for fall 2022.
