Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide clinical laboratory testing services which include performing all patient tests at Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities and Intermediate Care Facilities. Provide technical assistance to the long-term care facilities for sample selection, testing protocols, submission processes and reporting as needed. Provide laboratory testing services for SARS CoV2 samples from a laboratory with proof of laboratory certification by either Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or other approved CMS accreditation agency (e.g. College of American Pathologists or Joint Commission). Acceptable proof is defined as a copy of a valid Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Certificate of Compliance or Accreditation with the specialty/subspecialty of Virology listed.
