Specifications include, but are not limited to: - methods used to fulfill search requirements (including a strategy or detailed experience in recruiting and attracting a diverse pool of qualified executive level candidates) - listing of search Consultants and their experience - cost of services (including cost if candidate is not chosen from the firms pool of candidates) - type of positions the firm specializes in - percentage of searches complete - types of advertising - references - placement guarantees - multiple search discounts The selected firms will be expected to provide the following services; - Meet with search committee to understand the goals of the University of Houston and the position being recruited. Assist with developing position descriptions and announcements, etc. - Facilitate the recruiting process: initial screening of candidates, develop candidate profiles, match candidates to the client’s requirements to identify suitable, qualified top candidates, etc. - Facilitate interview process and candidate credentialing: scheduling, make travel arrangements, coordinate candidate interviews, help prepare and conduct interviews, help develop interview questions, conduct confidential background, criminal history and reference checks, verify education history, conduct media reviews for potentially controversial areas of concern, follow-up with candidates not selected, etc. - Assist with negotiations on remuneration, benefits and relocation. Use as intermediary during offer process, if necessary.
